Will you guys be able to get the intake vent done also? Or will it be as pictured with only the engine vents?

I guess we could but i liked how it looked without it. Do you think the intake vent is necessary?

I HATE IT WHEN THE SERVER GOES DOWN AND I HAD A NICE POST TYPED UP!!!!

The biggest reason I'm petitioning for the vents is cuz we don't have that option available yet. The closest we've gotten is Calvin's 6 style hood, but the openings are closer to cutouts than they are vents. I think there would be plenty of people willing to buy the hood if it did indeed have the intake vent incoporated into the design. Nothing like form and function.

Is it too late to ask for a 7 style hood? As mentioned, Calvin's already got a 6 style hood in the works, and it seems like overkill to overlook those of us that want a more subtle hood. For those that want the agressive look, they can turn to the 6 style; but what about us folks that want the 7 hood? You can put my name first on the list for buyers.

Well, this one will be fiberglass. We could make it in Carbon fiber too if the demand were there, but it would take us 2 months to make it in CF.

Ok, we will go ahead and put that intake vent in there.

Ghostrider, if you look at this thread, its almost 2 -4 to 1 for people who wanted this hood instead of the evovii hood. If the demand goes up we can make it. Calvin makes a hood like this? Who is calvin? Was he the guy who sold a bunch of people JDM evo VII kits that couldnt fit their cars, and then refused to accept the money back?

i believe a lot of people would not mind waiting the 2 months for a Carbon Fiber hood if it was quality and well priced. i know i would wait. i think you should think about making the Carbon Fiber hood. im very sure the demand is there.

Thanks at the very least for adding the intake vent. I'll still be waiting for a 7 hood to come along. Oh, and here's that evo 6 style hood I was talking about. There's installed pics here as well.

That CF hood looks like a turbo style, definately not an evo style. Compare it to the picture of the blue lancer on the first page.
