i say try whatever u may think would fit cause thats what i did. i extended my lip the hard way, i sugg. that u just get 2 lips and cut the 2nd one for the extra inches, but yea i got some small metal screen, bent it to the shape of the lip, then use fiberglass resin jelly over the screen so i kinda had a mold of the lip , heres a pic .

then after i had a mold of the lip i cut it to fit then glued it in place and used some more fiberglass resin jelly to fill in the gaps and that was it

 

Never would've known from the pics where the extension was until you showed me.

 

 

damn, now i can see the extension portion dead in the center on the pics you originally put up....

i suggest the junkyard, its cheaper.here in socali i see them at junkyards all the time
