Well... Ok, I prolly wouldnt do spray paint, nor condone it.
BUT they did come out very nicely. I hope they dont chip or anything, thats what Id be worried about. However, If they do ya well and the job was wallet friendly... More power to ya!

Plus, hearing about the light weight of the stock OZ wheels, its prolly good to keep 'em anyway. KUDOS!

yeah you really cant beat $20.96 for what seems to be brand new wheels(old wheels with a fresh new look.

if anyone is looking for a new set of 17" flat black wheels i am selling mine for $200 plus shipping. they dont look all too bad...a few chips/scratches. the tires are Nitto NT555's. they have round abouts of 35,000 miles with about medium treadware. if you are interested in taking these off of my hands i will happily give them up. pm me for more details.

thanks for all the comments

Nitto's are crap for mileage. My buddy got less than 15k out of a set on his GTO with no burn outs.

yeah right now they have like 25000/30000 and they have about a medium treadware. my brother has the same tires on his matrix and has about 60000 miles on them and they look brand new! WTF?

^ much softer compound Nice taping job btw, good even line all the way around. Im thinking of having mine powder coated in a bronze color, dont want to deal with the inevitable chipping

i put 3 heavy coats on mine so...if they chip, oh well.

powdercoating doesnt mean that they wont chip...my 17's are powdercoated and they are chipped. if you powdercoat the whole rim without leaving the lip then expect for them to be scratched when you get your tires changed. happened everytime for me

uh...honestly it took round abouts of 1.5 hours to paint and then 3 hours to let the paint "dry before handling"... so about 4.5 hours. and that was with doing 3 coats of paint. shouldnt take anyone more than 6-8 hours. EASY!
