I figured I'd just start a new thread on this since the other one was getting pretty long. Some of the pics are from Tunerwars at hershey this past sunday, some are from my house, and some are from a small local show this past saturday. If anyone on the east coast is heading down to the Ocean City show this weekend, I'll be showing indoor down there. Stop by and check it out. I'm always interested in meeting other enthusiasts. The paint job cost me about $2500 for the whole thing, but I saved some $$ by doing a lot of the prep work. I'm very happy with the result. The pics don't do it justice since it wasn't real sunny this weekend and you can't see the pearl. Enjoy!

I think the engine bay should have been orange too, but you more than saved yourself by getting the door jams painted. Very nice paint job, not my favorite color, but a nice job none the less

 

It's nice that they actually paid attention to your parking requests.... LOL But seriously, man that is one sweet paint job..... I have to wipe the drool now... thanx.....

 

awesome. i love the paint. only thing i would say, is paint the door panels (where the silver is) the same color as the outside.

what prep work did you do yourself?

 

I would have preferred to have the engine bay shot as well, but it would have cost me a lot more $$. Plus I can always black it out myself down the road.

As for the prep work, I stripped most of the interior, moldings, door panels, etc.

 

car looks awesome. That paint is sick ! I like your presentation too, with the mirrors. Yours is definitely one of my favorite lancers out there.

Did you get your stock seats refabricated? If so with what?
Or did you buy new seats entirely? If so from who?

And how much did the seats costs?
