I haven't read anything about this but from experience i can tell you that it is a bit harder to stop when the rotors/pads are cold as compared to stock. Takes maybe a few stops to heat the pads up. Oh BTW my setup is stock calipers/Axxis Deluxe pads/RRM Slotted Rotors. I would assume that the drilled/slotted combination would make it even harder to stop when cold.
Oh and on the subject on brake fade... I've never had brake fade EVER even after doing about 20 minutes of repititive hard braking and accelerating.
