It was good to see that new addition on Ebay... Glad other parts are still coming out for our Lancers. Just hope the quality holds up, cuz the turbo manifolds they make crack after some time. But since there won't be any additional weight strapped onto these, they should be fine I guess.

The design of that header isn't bad but....it looks like they just threw it together

The O2 sensor looks a little low on that header.

Let us know how that works out.

yeah how did these work out? Ive heard bad things about OBX but they do look nice. And by the way, how much of your exhaust does that DP raplace, it looks really long. And the thing i heard about having longer tube headers is that its best to have them equal length. That left side pipe goes all the way over. But still, i want an update on these. If they hold up, I'd definately get one.

Get thick gaskets not the regular graphite ones that come from the dealer or autozone. I just bought some more 2 bolt ones at a carshow called Back to the 50's. Exhaust is exhaust. Old cars use the same flanges so you can look outside the import shops.

I thought about getting them welded, but every welder told me the heat will take out the welds.
I dont understand how this is true, cus the headers themselves are welded, and you dont see them falling apart, nor up front catalytic converters!
I dont get it...?
In the condtion mine are in aesthetically , Id just replace 'em anyway.

Btw, if you want them to stay chrome under the hood,
dont touch them with your hands.
Its the oils in your hands that get on the chrome and turn it gold when the heat gets at it, and then finally blue and nasty.
