during the summer I leave the vent cover off. It still flops a lil bit at a even higher speed.

You talking about the thing under the vents, right? My boy Chad suggested that i cut slits in it so it works like the 8 vent cover. I'm thinking about that too.

Question

What do you guys think I should do with the wing? Since I could not get the one from Cerious; I was wondering should I:

A. Paint the whole wing the same color as the car?

B. Paint the middle section Black to sort of match the cf hood and save a little money?
or
C. Get some carbon vinyl to wrap the center section of the wing?

Basically have the whole thing painted BWB or have the look of a IX wing? Here is a link to the CF vinyl and I can get a roll of 24" x 48" for $60 or 24" x 60" for $70 I measured the wing and it is about 16" around and around 46" long i think

Decal FX CF Vinyl

I would do the center section gloss black. Would look great. Dont do a fake CF overlay.

Yes, I remove the FG peice under the vent. I keep a screw driver and the peice in my trunk so if I know its gonna Rain real hard and im driving I throw it in. haha

Sounds good! I gotta get those sides wher they will put the wing together moloded over or something too! So it will look like the regular sides! Taking my stuff to Jacksonville in the morning! Then on to the beach!!!!

Just to update this a bit: Got the car painted and bent a rim and had to get windows re-tinted to comply with NC BS regulations. AM in the process of upgradins some stock stuff like the shocks and crank pulley, etc. I will try again to paint all my mesh black since spring is here and no rain is supposed to come around. Here are the most current pics of the car. Will take more when I paint the mesh black. Took the 18s off til I can get my bent one fixed.
