is that painted black or is it still aluminum? cant really tell. not really to my liking but paint it black and throw on a mitsu diamond. buy the rrm evo grill otherwise.

you should try a variation on your stock grill instead, like painting it black with the diamond left silver or something else if you cant afford a ralliart grill or evo style grill. your mesh looks SUPER cheap and people usually laugh when they see ricey stuff like that. just a suggestion.

I think if it were painted black it'd look pretty nice. That way it wouldn't stand out quite so much. Props on being creative.

I did mesh on the grille inserts and on the bumper. The metal has dulled a little since I took the pic so it doesn't look so flashy. I was going to paint it black but I decided I didn't really like just the black grille with the black inserts on a black car so I didn't paint the mesh. I think it looks alright...wish I had the money for a ralliart grille though

even if he painted it black, it woud still be all wavy like it is and still look pretty cheap. ^^^this grill idea is alright.

Gutter Guard Mesh from Lowe's....$7 for 5 sheets(I just used someone elses idea...i used 3 sheets total for the grille and bumper). I did wrap the grille insert with the mesh. The mesh doesn't fit over the whole grille insert so wrap it under the first slot on the gutter guard. It'll wrap nicely but definitely is a major pain. The mesh is not really wavy it was just how the light was hitting it plus I crappy digital camera.

i think mesh just looks too tacky. maybe because the mesh is too condensed. perhaps if it was more open it would look good...but then rocks can go through.
