Well I saw this coming once i saw the pic of that crome wing, this guy is getting burned. Imo Evo wing or no wing and sometime lip spoiler like the m3. You really should look around before posting a thread about somethings like this. We sure tell noobs to think before there post...but it is a good laugh.

Aluminum is so gay, get the EVO VIII spoiler, or none at all. I had one and I loved it I have to get another one.

lol damn well I guess I know your thoughts on it and yes I KNOW I’ll get slammed for this one too but what do you have agents ricers any how? But good point the aluminum won’t go well with all the chrome. thanks, but you don't think the evo wing is overdone?

Do you mean against ricers? Ricers are the scourge of the automotive tuning world, they make a bad name for everything import. They are the import equivalent of the hicks with mullets that drive rusted out trans ams/camaros with glass pack mufflers and claim they can take on any "rice rocket" out there. For another analogy, they're the equivalent of the 14 year old teeny boppers that spend hundreds of dollars to get that "indie" look simply because they think it will make them cool, they actually know nothing about indie or punk music, they just do it to be seen.

O well I see that makes since, where I use to drag they called any one with a non American sports car a ricer and I always thought the Japanese cars where awesome so I switched to imports they all call me a ricer so I became proud of that term. Well know that I know what that means hear, all the **** that called me ricer can stick that soy sauce up there ***.

If you put an aluminum wing on a lancer, you're a ricer, it's that simple.

Well I do think your right and some thing else would look better, but styles in the eye of the beholder I like the metal wing look sorry but the aluminum is a no go and something painted would probably look better with my hood but I like to look different I’m posting a pic of my lancer in a little bit and you'll see what I mean.

look bro, if you were racing in tsuksuba and had a rear drive car with over 500 bhp and needed the extra downforce to keep your rear end stable though the apex's and straightaways, then i would say go for that wing. i think the ricer term has alot to do with people who get racing parts on their car for absolutely no functionality purpose whatsoever. a front drive car does not really need extra downforce on the street. our cars dont need spoilers, but people put them on anyway because they help even out the lines of the car. that wing is hideous and serves no purpose on the street. its like putting rims on a baby stroller...POINTLESS. also, thanks for being a good sport about it.

Exactly, if you drove a GT car or even an SCCA track car, maybe, but then you wouldn't put a sh!tty pepboys spoiler on, you'd get an actual racing wing which costs hundreds if not a few thousand dollars since they're wind tunnel tested and such forth.

I don't understand this whole "well such and such looks good, but too many people have it" mentality. A lot of people wear jeans around here but I don't walk around in pink capri pants just to be different. If you like the evo wing, get the evo wing, generally speaking something is popular because it's good.
