well here is a copy of what the sent me...

When it stated is NEW then it is NEW! If it stated USED so it's as-is, we can guarantee the product is new & no damage before we handled to the postman or drop it to the post office but we can't guarantee afterward because we can't control how the shipping company handle their work, thx!

that being said, I can always get a kit, but finding these may be a little bit harder... So I am going to get them and keep you posted...

Steve

But after reading this:

Buyer assumes all risk on shipment & usage

I am going to contact them again, and see if I can get some insurance and even pay more to have it shipped UPS and not USPS... Wish me luck...

As someone who works at UPS and deals with damages you have to declare the proper value AND the shipper will have to double box it with foam inbetween the boxes or the shipper will get ZIP for the damage claim and you are stuck with broken stuff unless the shipper eats it. The insurer UPS uses pays on MAYBE 1 out of a 100 claims. I can't remeber any claim being paid in the last 2 months where I work and we deliver over 15,000 packages a day.

^^ Another reason why I hate UPS. No offense to you, I just have many reasons to strongly dislike UPS. I'm a Fedex guy

I got my cedias from another ebay vendor and he shipped some type of EMS or something - some international branch of the USPS. The Cedias were double boxed and came in perfect shape. I don't know anything about this guy, but sounds like others out there have had a good experience with him.

Also reading the description, sounds like you can pay for insurance:

"* If you do not pay for the insurance, we WILL NOT be held responsible for any lost / damages after we ship out the item"
Too bad the housings aren't black; that would make them perfect for me.

All the more reason to get these. I also have HIDs and they have to be pointed so far down due to the tons of glare you get from NOT having projector lenses.

Those look nice. Black would be better and $400 is a little out of my price range for now.

Like I said before, this guy is a pretty legit vendor. Packaging came in almost perfect condition, and it came to Vegas in like 3 days from Taiwan. That is some good customer satisfaction. They were Depo Cedias and still had that plastic seran wrap protecting crap on them when I opened up the box.

I woulda got them but they weren't black. That and I don't really like putting things in the oven, makes me feel kinda feminine.

Do you have cedia's?....if so were all going to throw you 2 dollars so you can switch over to these haha...my Hid's actually didn't need any adjustment....and the glare isn't bad at all.....but if you want to pay for the H-style hid bulb i'll get these haha...
