I had this RRM Strut bar and my front springs (Progress Prokit) were hella noisy. Creak Creak and snapping sounds. That's possibly what you are hearing. K-bar is probably a more even tension on the struts.

 

Yhea no kidding. My old-skool (pre-heat shield) RRM intake has turned from red to gray. Guess it's time for some K&N filter oil, huh?

BTW, looking good. I remember the day I installed those two little goodies. I felt special back then, when RRM only had like 5 products available. Guess I'm behind the times.
