i was thinking about it, but then the only thing not black in my car would be the hoodliner, and i think it would look wierd with just a grey roof

Its easy. I didnt even sand and mine it still great looking. Just use some primer and then some gloss black. Takes like an hour.

so blacklancer the only thing grey in your car is the b pillars, the visors, seatbelt thing, and the handles?

i painted mine black as well as the wood-grain looking piece that stretches across the passenger dash. I sanded and used Krylon Fusion paint for plastic then clearcoated it. Turned out really well but the black attracts dust like crazy.

I used carbon fiber on mine, but if you want to paint them, you're going to want to sand them down, primer them, and sand them smooth, and then paint them. Because our pillars have that rough texture look/feeling.
Here's what I did with my headliner.

One of the pictures shows the other a-pillar which is painted flat black. Kinda gives it a stealthy look.
