I had problems cleaning my rims recently (car in the shop...lots of rain and brake dust build up on the wheels). End result was some rust on the 2002 stock OZ wheels. Found this stuff that works super well to get rid of that junk and got them looking brand new
Seapower - Metal Polish

I followed that up with some Aviation Metal protectant made by a company called Granitize. Now whenever I clean my car I take a microfiber towel to the rims and it just wipes right off.

It literally took the stuff off. Granted I must agree with the above that a little elbow grease and sweat may be necessay to keep 'em clean, but aint it worth it?
