Thanx for the positive feedback...

Just want to say thank you for the feedback. This was the first weekend with them out on the road. Needless to say, I got more comments and looks then I ever have had with the Lancer.

What it really needs right now is a good paint job. Never could figure out why the paint chipped so easily on this compared to other cars I have had. Come to find out Mistsubishi saved money and about 15 lbs per car by doing Stage 1 paint jobs only. Found this out while researching Mequiars site.

By the way, to everyone... if you haven't yet, try out Mequiars NXT. It is the sh**. If you have a black or dark color car, it is a noticable difference between Meguairs Gold Class, which is what I use to use.

not bad, not bad. gotta have love for a fellow black lancer (they're so damn hard to keep clean)

where are you getting paint chips? If it is only on the hood, there's a nice solution to that problem that doesn't involve paint............

All black look is not the matter of appreciation, it is just a matter of personal opinion.

Its pretty much how I started the thread.... realization that opinions are like .... you know the rest. Still it was good to hear some feedback.

One thing that always like to see is those carbon fiber hoods on lighter color lancers. Only problem is that I am afraid it would be lost on a black car. Any owners out there with a black lancer and CF hood / CF Trunk ?
