OZ CRONO EVOLUTION or SUPERLEGGERA
i've been thinking...
i change my vote. if you get the superleggeras, it will look like you're trying to make it look like an evo (imo). i like the chrono, but oz is really expensive. here are the rims i'm pretty sure i decided to order tomorrow. 5 spoke is classic, and won't really go out of style (again, imo).

i think ive come to a decision with myself that the superleggeras are a bit too ricey for the look im trying to achieve for my car. if any1 can do a photoshop chopand see what both would look like in 17s on a thunder gray oz that would be much appreciated
To me the five spoke doesn't really fit the look of the Lancer. Five spokes look really good on larger cars like Supras, Skylines, Sylvias, etc because they have four wheel discs, and big discs to show off with a wide open wheel. Us on the other hand, have wussy front rotors and rear drums, which is something to hide. When I get the money for it (bonus time comes around april) I'm going to get some Rota SubZeros (they're like 15-16 pounds per 17" rim) with either Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 or BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW2. I like the multispoke look, just as long as there aren't too many of them.
The EXCEL Madrid wheels, which you can find at www.wheelmax.com look like OZ Superleggera knockoffs.

To answer the previous issue (I remember the thread),
Our OZ wheels are designed by OZ and made by Enkei. Enkei owns OZ. OZ is the Italian company, Enkei is the Japanese. Since the Lancers are made in Japan, it's cheaper to have OZ design the rim and Enkei make it than it is to ship all the OZ rims to Japan.
And there you have it.

Enkei RS5's are what I run... think they are about 19 lbs per rim maybe 21. But only run 140 a piece.
