So I have a WHITE 2004 Lancer ES, and I am looking to make that car look FLY. (Obviously )

I am between 2 options, so here are the few things I am thinking about doing, let me know your opinion, or what you think I should do.
(Keep in mind, all of these I am getting 18" rims, I don't know what color or style though, for me to include that on what I want)


1-Carbon Fiber Hood, Carbon Fiber Evo Eyelids, Evo Spoiler (or one that looks like)

2-Evo Eyelids, Evo Spoiler (or one that looks like), (with this I am thinking sinc emy car is white eithe rWhite rims or Brushed Chrome rims)


So should I get my car Carbon Fibered or not. LOL. I am also looking to redo my interor to leather if anyone knows of any place good in the South Florida region.

1) First of all, i wouldnt go 18" rims on a small car like a lancer. If you want it to fly, u have to choose either 16" or 17", 16" being the best in performance/Handeling. (17" w/lowering springs will be a good idea)

2) On the rims, dont go white cause white on white is just too old now a days. Either go flat black or bronze. (NO CHROME, NO WHTE, NO POLISHED LIP)

3) There is no such thing as carbon fiber evo eyelids so if you want, u can just get 04+ lancer eyelids from RRM or ACCOLADE. Also CARBON FIBER hood will look good since ur car is white. I would stay away from EVO SPOILER and get the CF TRUNK instead for better look. keep in mind that ur car doesnt have side skirts so evo spoiler will look out of place on ES.

4) I wouldnt spend $$ on leather interior becuase LANCER is not a luxury car. I would rather spend $$ on SUSPENSION and PERFOMRANCE mods.

Go thru registry or cardomain to get more ideas on the exterior mods........

 

For performance, 15" rims are the best. I think 18" rims are way too big for the lancer, especially an ES.

 

Keep it Diamond Pearl White, its a sweet color..

Oh and contact me for your spoiler and eyelids please.

I may even have a prepainted pearl white eyelid set in stock.

 

Okay, since I have a white Lancer as well, i'll give you some advice. First, 18" rims are too big for such a small car, your tires will be very skinny and you will need to drive -15 mph over bumps in the road (not a good idea). I would go with 16" (which is what I have) and since you want carbon fiber, I would suggest black(ish) rims to match (white rims will get old fast). Evo spoiler does look somewhat out of place on all Lancers, because it's for Evos!! I don't have much room to talk, since I slapped one on my car less than 2 months after I got it. I would suggest no spoiler, but get a carbon fiber trunk and if you can afford it get the matching hood too. I think everyone can agree that most black looks great on white cars.


Going from 15" to 16" is a big dif. and you can see the spoiler too. Basically if you get an evo 7 spoiler, say good bye to the rear view mirror lol.

As for the leather interior, not worth taking the time and money to go through with it, just get some nicer seats and your good to go. have fun

depends if u want to spend the money for that CF hood, some 450 isnt easy, well not for me.. and id say if u go cf black rims.. and if u want a clean look get the white eyelids but if u want a racerish look get the cf. just my opinion..but either way no chrome rims =)

 

Thanks for all the feedback, i mean it. you guys gave some good ideas. i just liked the way the evo spoiler looked, lol..but i totally understand that i shouldnt get one of those. yeah i like the carbon fiber hood im gonna go with that, and some blackish 16s. about the leather int.. yeah after thinking about it, you guys are totally right. i also live in miami, so when the seats get hot.. it will get REALLY hot. lol. but thanks a lot. if you guys ever get any suggestions, just post them up. ill be here checking them out.

 

For spoiler you could go with the stock OZ or stock ralliart spoiler, or the ralliart spoiler from RRM. It's slightly higher than the stock spoiler and it's all carbon fiber. It actually looks really nice. For a hood I would recommend seibon or carbontrix, I have a seibon hood and the quality is outstanding. For rims ROTA is a good company and makes a lot of lightweight and attractive rims, quite a few of their rims look like more experience models like Volks and Works. For seats, evo seats are awesome. They provide enough support for spirited driving without the massive thigh bolsters that make entry and exit irritating.

If you want the look, get 17's and some Tein S-Tech springs. Id also do the CF Hood and CF eyes. But thats just my personal taste.
