Which is better?

I dunno which one I like more. The Evo IX makes me feel like Im trying to be an Evo, and it reminds me of an RSX.
Somehow I still like it tho; prolly cus its just finally something different than all the other kits.
I think the JDM bumper is a sleek design, and I appretitate that "only from Japan" aggressive-style it maintains.

I'm a huge fan of the Evo 9 front conversion. I don't like the fact that with the JDM front, you're barely making any difference to the car, yet paying out the butt to get it. At least with the Evo conversions, you know that there's a kit on the car and it looks tight!

Any tasteful body kit is better than an Evo conversion. I'm not trying to be a *****, but a regular Lancer is not an Evo. Sorry.

Nope. Some Evo kits look good. I've only seen the Evo 7 kit looking good. But Accolade made a ricey look of it. Evo 8 and 9 have not been accomplished yet.

As for "Any tasteful body kit is better than an Evo conversion", I have only seen one kit that looks good. And It's the boosted orange Lancer around here. That kit looks good with that color, but have seen it on other cars, and just doesn't seem to catch my eye. MOST BODYKITS FOR LANCERS ARE ALL EBAY CRAP, AND RICEY LOOKING.

Back to the thread, I would go either haha. I love that Evo 9 look, but I love the JDM look. Just thinking about getting the JDM here makes me not want to think about it.

p.s People think when you have an Evo convertion, your just trying to be an Evo, and so and so...... and we can't afford Evos, and it keeps gooing....
I like them because they are unique. Not ricey looking. I don't give a **** what people think, and long as I like it. It looks clean and thats all I care

Trying to look like another car is the opposite of being unique. It's called copying. Whatever floats your boat. It's all up to you. You do not need anybody else's opinion to decide what's best for your car.

If I wanted to be an Evo, I could turbo it, put "Evo" all over it, and say I drive an Evo.

I like how the Evo convertion looks. Not copying the Evo 7. I could easily spend $5k, and talk to VIS to send me the Fenders, lights, hood, bumper.
