Where did you mount the compressor??

I had a engine driven compressor on my Silverado. Filled up the 12gal. tank quick.

its a very cool setup. and looks amazing for shows. But for performance.. eh. so it all depends on what your after. I think you deffinitely need some sick 18's to go along with it though.

That looks great. That will make it easy to get under the car for oil changes.

i'm debating on getting air ride or eibach ground control coilovers. if i get the coilovers, i don't think i'm gonna be able to get in my driveway. if i get the air ride, i won't have that problem. But i live in ohio. yesterday was 75 degrees out. Today, the high is like 30 and snowing, complete white out. then, i'll have to buy a winter beater. how many switches do you have for the setup?

Looks good man. There are very few lancers on bags so you definitely get props for being different. OZlancerlunatic's setup seemed to have been built very well so you should be happy with it. What else do you have planned since you said you're goin show?

Thanks for all your replies. Rims that will be going on will be 17's. Have a few that I am looking into.

The compressor is mounted in the trunk just behind (toward the rear of car) the tank. Its slow, and is irritating. Doesnt give me much play time, but it does the job.

As far as show goes. I am not really looking into makeing it a car show car, I dont need any trophies. The bags were actually for my business, to draw attention to the car, thus drawing attention to my business name and phone number. The great part about this, as it makes the bags a complete tax deduction for the business as a "marketiting gimmick"... Car magnets rule :-P.

Only other plans I have is interior really. I would like to get some evo front seats, steering wheel, and put a double din screen in, moving the climate controls below.

I would have left the old body kit on, but fiberglass sucks ***, and if I bought another kit, it would be the kaminari kit. Strong, durrable, and doesnt crack due to WIND lol.

Props to Accolade for making sweet looking kits, but thumbs down to strength. If their same kits came in polyurathane, and cost 500 bucks more, they would be more worth it. (Lets not get off on that subject.)

Anyhow yeah. The bags are cool, performance blows low, but suspension is pretty tight all the way up, but after you throw about 300 lbs, you get the kushy ride again. I ride at about 3/4 pressure with myself in the car for a smoother ride.

Still waiting for a sunny day to take some pics for ya guys. The rear is lame untill the brackets are made/put on, but ill post some more pics for yas.

you seem happy, others like it. i don't like it at all, that 1800 would go somewhere else at my home. Your pictures of the car before look clean more the look I like.

Yup, it was clean from far, but close was far from clean due to fiberglass cracks spreading like the flu. The rimswere nice, tires were nice. But the body kit was horrible. If you were to see it up close you wouldnt like it so much. Car was best w/ stock body, and the NEX kit, but I got in a small accident, which is when I started the body mods, which I wish I would have either never done, or just purchased the kaminari kit from the get-go.

Yup, you can do a lot w/ 1800 bucks. It wasnt in one lump sum. It was 1800 bucks between January and now, which didnt make it seem like I spent that much over time.(Tax return helped on this). Not to mention, most of hte 1800 will come back to me when I do my business taxes. So I spent much less than 1800 in the end ;-).

suction.. i might have spelled it wrong.. it allows you to retract the air piston/bag.. for example if you fully lock it up and drop a front corner you get a back 3 wheel.. and instead of having the wheel just hang.. you can suck it up.. literally..
