how so? is it because the to speed and top rpm are higher, therefore the instantaneous info shown are higher than supposed to be?
does that mean the rpm and speed needles go by some sort of fraction, rather than being measured straight from the min point and go up certain randian angle?

No? The evo rims are bigger stock (including tires) thus the speedo is off.

 

so when everyone changed it...........did it work good?? and is the rpm off too or just the speedo????
because a couple people that changed them out said that there Rpm or speedo werent workn... or that there SES light came on
i was wondering if i could change out to the evo cluster too but my car is auto would that make any diff if it would work??

 

Damn how do u guys find those cluster on ebay. everytime i look they're either not there or sometimes there's only 1 and even that with the mileage way off than mine lol. Btw what did u use to change your HVAC color to red? LEDs? Bulbs? Gels?

Yes it works perfectly fine. Only the ABS light comes on, because we do not have ABS. Just remove the bulb. Problem solved.

 

Well in most cases (like mine), I do not plan on selling the car. Therefor the mileage didn't really matter to me. I did however go from 53k to 5k.


For an Evo cluster, expect to pay more than double of what you got the OZ cluster for.

 

yea i know and i just wanted to get a cluster that lights up red. didn't matter if it was from an evo or oz
