That flame design looks like the one I did on a civic for Need for Speed Underground not a huge fan of it for the lancer... Is the giant mitsu symbol in the window a decal or a tint? Maybe it would be better if it was just an outline... possibly keep the flames but make them more subtle...

 

do you have a side pic of the car? possibly clean?

 

not diggin the flames, nor the huge mitsu logo... but its your car, do what you like, as long as you think it looks good.
i do like what you've done with the stock grill though.

 

the fog lights and the blue in the tail lights is kinda cool but it kinda ends there. but it just needs some attention...i think

I gotta vote 'cus I hate flames, with a passion.

1. Their for domestics and Harley ridin' biker-gangs.

2. Their not even old skool, their "ancient skool." They have soooo Been Done.

3. Their always fugly, on any and every automobile. I've never seen how they possibly enhance the aesthetics of a car.

4. The designs dont ever even look anything like fire anyway.

Im sorry, lemme just say, Im not bashing You personally, I know you didnt put them on there..

Anyway, the rest (like the giant Mitsu Badge and Vinyl Logo) look ricey to me.
That was the sorta thing people did, back before the first F&F came out, and painting your dash trim Yellow regardless of the rest of the cars color, was a cool thing to do. Which it really wasnt. May as well have the giant "MITSUBISHI" across the top of the windsheild too.

On the other hand.. I like the Gray color of the flames, and the Blue fog lights.
I think you should paint the whole car that color, and with those Blue lights it would look great; tho Id remove the Blue from the reverse lights, and leave 'em White, just 'cus they dont match anything, and you could get a ticket (I did) for having Police colored lights.
Also, I really like your rims! I think painting the spokes Black, with the Gray car would be cool too (or leave 'em Silver..)
Their nice.

When I purchased this car, it was from my uncle's car lot. You can't beat paying only $2500 for a Mitsu Lancer w/ only 55k on it. Not only that, but this thing sure moves compared to the 1998 Ford Taurus I was driving before hand.

Ya I think my car is either love it or hate it. Like Cityknight said, it is kind of flashy and in your face, but I like the head turning I get just when I drive down the street. By the way...I just got my replacement bulbs for the HVAC, Auto Shift Lights, and Cig Lighter. I think I am going to install tomorrow before school so I should have pics up by tomorrow night.
