Question Has this ever happened to you?

Tonight I was at my local target, and when I came out there was a note stuffed into the handle of my car. It basically told me I was a "vagina" for "ricing out" my ride...

I didn't really bother to read the entire note because the first line alone was laughable - I have EvolutionM.net decals on my rear windows because I visit the forum all the time, heres what they had to say about them:

"You are NOT an EVO! Stop posting gay-*** stickers on your windows trying to say you are you *****."

now I know full well that I am not an Evo (although I do have the Evo VII wing, but thats beside the point) -- I was just representin' the forums here

It went on to say some other stuff, but I just kinda rolled it up into a ball and tossed it to the ground because I'm pretty sure the guys who wrote it were parked a few spots down from me standing by their Ford Explorer because they were chuckling. I didn't wanna give them the satisfaction of thinking their efforts bothered me.

My qiestion is, who is the bigger loser here? Me for actually taking pride in the look and engine of my ride...or them for having nothing better to do on a Saturday night then write letters to Import car drivers at the local target?

People are stupid...

I've got the Evolutionm.net decals on the side lips near the rear wheels and nobody has left me a message, had a few nice comments from people though. Screw the people that don't like what you have done. You paid (or are paying) for the car and it's yours to make the way you want. F*&K em if they can't take a joke or Joke em if they can't take a f$^k!!!!!

Oh don't worry, I'm not having second thoughts about my car...I've gotten alot of good comments on it, this was the first time I ever got something negative like this.

I was just wondering if this was a common thing for people to leave notes on what they would consider "Riced -out" rides? It would almost be laughable if it wasn't so freakin' stupid.

I looked at you're car its

Seems a little high though, do you have springs or coils on it?

I saw you rated you're red washer lights a 4/10, honestly if you don't really like them you should ditch em.....

I have a tendency to leave www.ricecop.com citations on cars. I've got a ticket book and everything. But only on extreme examples. Like lastnight, I had nothing better to do, so a few of my friends and I were just hanging out driving around, when this moron in a neon passed us on a pretty busy 2 lane in the center of town... He's got some serious ghetto lean going while he's driving, and the car just screams rice.

Blue late 90's neon
18" chrome rims of the ugliest design I think I've ever seen.
Stock ride height
Twin light up exhaust tips
Washer nozzle lights
SVT badge... *That's right SVT... you know, FORD's Special Vechicle Team, this car was obviously a high performance peice*
The twin racing stripes, complete with vinyl ones to match on the back windsheild
Chrome windshield wiper blades
and a huge 2 tier wing

He was guilty of rice, and got a ticket reflecting it.

Of course, I do live in a small town, and really don't have much better to do with the time, so take that story and do as you will with it.

Well my opinion is "Team Bring It" is rice to the tenth power, even though I like wrestling too. Take it off that probably drew the initial attention.

Well I don't ever light up the LEDs to be honest with you as silly as that sounds.

I just like the "chrome" look better then the plain black. Hense the 4/10 rating.

Yeah I guess I can see where that might be a bit "ricey"

But I wanted something that stands out a bit more then just "LANCER" ---> I mean people can tell what the car is without a big freakin' banner on my window proclaiming it. 'Team Bring I!' is def. something I wont see on another car, sets mine apart as different.

They actually didnt even mention the banner in the note...they were too busy harping on the fact that I am "trying to act like I have an Evolution" as I mentioned in the earlier post.

Well I never said I wasn't guilty of a little bit of rice

But I don't think a tiny bit is THAT bad...nor would I conmsider my ride a total rice machine. Heck I don't even have that much done to it to begin with.

I just think it's alittle silly to go around writing notes to people about their car...it's in my opinion that it's your ride as long as you like it then it's cool because you paid for it.

But maybe thats because I wouldn't do that to someone else.

You are right though - the car you described was rice to the 10th power, I've seen some in my area just like that.

Well I'm not sure if that was a cut on me or not...

But lighten up man, as long as someone is happy with their car, then it's all good in my view.

If that makes me "ignorant" then so be it.

I'm not a typical car guys, if you want to talk about my car amongst yourselves about how much you dislike the ways i modded my car then fine. But when idiots dissing your car right in front of you, then they're just asking for two thing either " a race" or a "fight" neither of those things are good ideas. So, don't have a temper like me and you'll be ok. And try to remember that you probally get more positive feed back then you do neggative.
