Cusco Cage and Carlisle Pics!!
Yeah, there's definitely been a lot of time, effort, and $$ put into this thing over the years. But I didn't even place at the Carlisle show. With NCCA judged shows, your car has to have all the best (and most rare) parts and no flaws! People never look at it this way, but the more mods you have the more points you can lose too! You can have a $5000 set of Project Mu brakes or a really rare jdm body kit, but if they aren't installed right, or don't fit absolutely perfectly, you will lose more points than you will gain. So if you're not going to do it right, you're better off not doing it at all. I've discovered this over the years of showing and am slowly in the process of replacing all my cheap parts and imperfections with higher quality stuff. My engine bay is what keeps killing me right now. But I'm workin on it! I really appreciate all the comments

lol, man this car is amazing. You should make the engine pieces the same blue as the cage. Blue and orange look god together. Very contrasting. And you'd want more than just the roll cage blue to make it look like it matches something. You should (not now, but whenever you decide to) chrome all the turbo pipes, blue the valve cover and other accents in the engine bay (radiator pieces). But right now it looks great. Keep it up.
love it man, this car might just be the cleanest lancer on Evom.
the roll cage is freakin great, if i had the cash for a 6 point i would definitly grab me one as well.
and for everyone telling him to paint it--- like he said the blue is like their trademark?!?! you cant just go ruining the cage because it "stands out".
its supposed to.

I don't race the car obviously so it is mainly for show. It definitely does help with handling though. Car feels much more responsive. When it comes to the shows though the more rare the part, the more points you get so that's the main reason why I got the cage. It does look pretty sexy, I get a lot of compliments on it.
