i first got my ralliart grille back in august of 2006... back then it looked like this:

a few weeks ago i got into a wreck with this explorer that stopped in an intersection, and the grille looked like this:

i repainted it black thinking that i could use it with the CF hood i got to replace my stock hood, but i found that it didn't quite fit right. the other day some truck on the highway kicked up a decent sized rock and that took a chunk out of my CF grille so i had no choice but to make the ralliart grille fit, and here's what it looks like now!

i like the style of the ralliart grille much more than the CF grille anyway. sorry to the guys who were interested in the grille today, too! any day before today and it would have gone right into a box and out the door!

Looks good atilla. I agree with you on the cf grill. I have the same hood and i 'm not feeling the grill. btw did you buy the hood with the hood pins? and are they realy needed? I don't have them. - should i?
i got the pins after the fact since i was worried about the hood... they aren't necessary... but i did notice that the hood would lift a bit at highway speeds. that combined with all the horror stories i'd heard of guys having the hood latch tear out of the hood since it was just glassed in place, well, i put the pins in!
