Best Wax

According to the manual that came with my GTS, I'm supposed to wax the car at least twice a year.

I haven't waxed a car in a long time, the most recent cars I've bought came with clear coat protection so I could be lazy and not wax. They were cars purchased for need and so I really didn't care.

But now it's different. I want to keep my GTS looking sharp. Time was when I did wax I used Blue Coral or maybe Turtle Wax. Last stop at my local auto parts shop they had Turtle Wax dirt cheap but no Blue Coral. I was hoping to get some advice based on what others here on this forum use.

I used to use expensive products thinking money = quality and in time I started using Mothers, then most recently DuPont's Teflon series. I am most happy with the Teflon series and would highly recommend it.

You can also go to many dealers and have your car Simonized with a teflon blend, the paint feels like glass afterward..

I'm sorry, but $80 is a bit much for wax.

I use Mother's.

Well, like I said I was going by what the manual recommended. Doesn't mean it can't be done more often although given my time commitments that won't be easy to do it too often.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check out NXT
