Accolade Boky Kit-$1100(depends on shipping address)
Rims- ??? Just put it at $1500 with tires
Body Work- ???? I can do this **** in my back yard for $200. Others, for thousands. Just really depends on when, where, etc.

Also consider he probably has a bit more under the engine. Might of been custom made kit, who knows. I'm just putting numbers to give an idea.

But do your math, thats about the half price of an Evo. Sure an evo might spank this car out the line, but if the numbers are right, this car will be spanking on rolls.

BTW: Some insurances do cover what you ad on your car. I've seen a few around here, but of course charge a little more. I bet it would probably come close to full coverage on an Evo
But my thing is why pretend its an evo? I own a lancer and my car will always be represented as that A LANCER its not an evo will never really be an evo and no matter how much I spend its a what??? A LANCER.....

If I have a unique car I personally would leave it debadged and make you wonder why fake like its an evo??

Your right. I missed the badges. Thats too much lol.

People like to build cars too thou. Not fun buying an Evo and say, "Oh I beat a Civic"

Not a real evo...

I agree with the point that it probably could do better without the Evo badge... just keep it plain... keep people guessing. And depending on what they did under the hood... it might still do better than an Evo.. since its often more about the driver than it is the car.

This might be someone who bought the car and over a period of time built their car piece by piece to be what they wanted for themselves. I don't see Evos looking this good IMHO. Whomever it was did a great job putting it together. Hopefully it has just as much go as it does show.

But again... I would keep the back clean and not advertise what I am or am not.

i agree with you but.. an Evo IS a Lancer.. lol perfect example of the chicken or the egg joke. The regular lancer doesnt have quite the speedy reputation here as it does in austrailia or asia...
i DONT agree with the owner putting evo badges on ... i woulda debadged it or put a JDM CEDIA badge on.

I think it looks great, in past I didn't like the kits at all but am starting to like them now though, I think a lancer with Accolade evo VII tech sport, Accolade extreme fenders, evo 9 rear conversion , evo 8 wing, vortex generator would look great especially painted in Kawasaki ninja green.

Regarding the vortex generator , Ive not figured out how to put the shorty antenna on yet, owner manual says just turn it to remove it but when I tried it seemed like it was going to break antenna base or something, doesn't turn to easily.

Man I don't know... it may just be me cause I've never really been a fan
of widebody kits... reminds me of something out of NFS. Seems like a lot
of people don't share my opinion though lol. I suppose as far as these
kits go though it was done cleanly, everything seems to flow together
alright. So if you were to get something like this done Notorious, just
make sure it's a quality job, nothing worse than a fender sticking out
three feet further than the bumper
