Maybe some of that smoked tint for our '02-'03 headlamps would help! and would look good BTW...

Some company on Ebay has a custom cut set for <$20!

I doubt it, the problem isn't the brightness persay, it's more how the light is reflected. Tape won't change this, only modding the housing will.

maybe i'll get around to it one day and do an actual retrofit when time allows. this is merely temporary for now...i dont even have the ballasts mounted properly yet. im using double-sided tape haha

i dont have a problem with my HID's (i also have the 8k), i aimed them down so that they dont blind people and so cops dont bother me. the only time it would bother people is on a hill. but yea i agree, the smoked headlight would look nice and it would at least dim the light a little.

^^^how do i aim my headlights down? i checked the DIY section but there's no pics (they dont work) for me to see where the knob is. i dont even know what it looks like. do i have to take my bumper off or something?

look on the back of your headlights, there should be two screws. One controls the left to right alignment the other up and down.
