I recently bought a 03 Yellow OZ a few weeks ago. I got a lot of big plans for the car. Right now I'm working on looks putting in neons and soon a new body kit. After that is a kick *** stereo system then on to the engine mods.

Any suggestions on things to get for the car????

Dude get the power strip out of the car. Have you ever heard of FIRE.... If not that is what you are playing with and you will soon learn.

 

For 6+ neons, and any kind of stereo mods, I'd recommend a 2nd battery, albeit a small one, and a hi- cap alternator. it wont take long to drain your stock one with all that light, and it could overwork your alternator and damage it. Also yes, run a heavy gauge wire directly from the positive battery pole , through a fuse, through the toggle switch, to the power strip, and ground the other end. I'd reccommend also including a ground loop isolator (big one) to stop ground loop interference.
figure out how much each neon/ LED/ anythign else you plan on powering draws (in amps, if you see watts, divide by 12), then get a wire rated for that many amps. i believe 12AWG will run up to 20A, 8AWG will handle up to like 40, and 6AWG will do 50.. double check these numbers, and whatever size you need, bump up to the next largest size, and fuse it with the appropriate size fuse (for how many amps you're running).

finally, when you're done, and realize all the neon looks like ****, take it all back to pep boys, get a refund and go buy a nice stereo, or speakers or something.

 

and since you have neon light crawlin up out of your ***, you might want to get a ground kit- i bet your car, is runnin like it has a flu...
