JRox, went through the same thing w/ my parents. just take it step by step little things first. haha. when i first got my 02 lancer, my dad swore i was to put NOTHING on there. but somewhere along the way,i bought a spoiler first, then taillights, then bulbs, then etc. hahah., took a year or so. but yeh.

 

tell them it will give you better gas mileage because it's lighter lol. It looks great though I must admit

 

keep it! dont sell. My parents also tell me that the Ralliart is there car, But I just started with painting the calipers and they thought it was pointless but after that I just kept modding and modding and they dont seem to care anymore

 

niice, the hood just goes so well with the white. kinda makes me wish i got a white evo instead of blue

 

lol, yeah I thing most young guys go through that stage where your parents dont want you to mod the car. Thats why I used to get my buddy to buy stuff and have it shipped to his house. I paid him of course. Then when it came in, like the RRM header, RRM pulley, and headlights/ taillights I just went to his house to put it on. lol.

I can understand why they dont want you to mess with a brand new car that they are paying for.

 

hmm i understand too.. but its sooo hard to leave it stock. especially when it looks like THAT

Exacccctly bro! I've been having my stuff shipped to my best friend's house for like almost a year and a half now. I actually purchased and installed ground effects and they never knew -- thought it came w/ the car i guess? The muffler was pretty much the only thing they REALLY didn't want on the car. They still complain when they ride in it, of it being "too loud".
