to me, what's the point about building a fast car when everybody knows you're fast and they won't run with you? (in an enclosed street of course)

i would but i'm in no rush. i'm gonna get what's best to support the abuse i'm gonna put my car through. just wait till ending of november. i'll post vids, pics, sound clips, anything you guys want. as long as i can inspire other lancer owners that if a full time worker and part time student can pull it off, anybody can. dedication and love for your car is all you need.
Thats tight, homie. Keep up the hard work and overtime at work to pay for the turbo!!! (I remember in one of your posts u said you would be taking a break from the forums to work extra to get that turbo) I can't wait to see the final product!!!

i understand. but here in hawaii, pride is everything. pretty much, every fast car that was built here, was slow as our cars. it's this thing we have about building a fast car, not buying one. EVERY REAL hawaii enthusiast knows that. you think everybody here in hawaii expects a turbo'd lancer? no way. that's the best feeling here. you build a fast car, you'll be known forever. you buy a fast car, you'll be the talk of the day, then you're forgotten.
