Nice pics! It's nice to see you out there really driving the car. It's amazing how many people don't have fun with their cars ...

Red x's pwn me but great result nonetheless

One quick question - with an '06 ES, how'd you end up in DSP ?? I have an '03 OZ and i race in STS.

Great to see that a few more lancer owners know how to have fun with their cars.

Tires, probably. ST does stand for street tire...

im not sure how they classed me, i was running street tire during every event. non the less, race rubber is allowed in all stock classes so that would not make a difference.

and i do not see a see a shoe, am i missing something?

nice picture there.

sometimes it would be nice to run at a smaller course so that people could get better shots of me--but then again i AM there to race, haha.

the way i got started is a funny story. im a mitsu guy and there is a local forum that has a lot of mitsu haters. i jokingly called out anyone on the forum to race me with my 89 mirage turbo. one kid said ok, bring you car to autox and see how you can do with an overpowered fwd. i said ok, but i will build a different car to bring. so i did. the events are held at the local fairgrounds parking lots which are about 10 mins from my house so it worked out well.

try searching for scca in your local area, they are the group that puts on our events.

You're in luck. Since you're in Albany, you're in the Northeast region. I found two sites that might appy to you...

Central NY region ( www.cny-scca.com )

-or-

Mohawk Hudson region ( www.mohud-scca.org )

you can get on the scca home page and click the "find your region" link at the top of the page.

I got hooked my first time out. The people are super friendly and i had a blast. Enjoy and ask a lot of questions - we're here to help.

i dont even have coilovers yet.

i will buy investing in some this year, my wheels didnt help too much since i had street tires on.

this last event i took 10th overall out of 58, and 9 of the cars i beat were corvette z06's. i feel pretty good about that!
