It's about the fun you have while doing it and the looks and props you get on the street and at the shows. For me, I felt like I achieved every goal I had set for my car so it helped ease the pain a little bit. Hopefully you can say the same for yours. I always loved what you had done with it and am sorry to see it go. But at the same time, if it's time to move on, then so be it, and good luck with your next vehicle!
id be lying if I didnt mention you bro, your car really kept me in the scene bro, I was just so amazed how well everything came together on your car bro, its so so clean, the paint was just insane.

You totally had the best looking lancer on this site hands down. I have never seen any other lancer quite like yours with everything done to taste. Good to hear you hopped into a Lexus though bro, those RX330's are so hard!!!

Thanks man! Compliments like that are one of the best parts of modifying a car. I always thought the same of your car. Everything flowed so well and was done right. In this scene you see so many people with cars that look ok from far away, but are really just thrown together quickly with low-grade parts that end up falling apart or hindering performance more than helping it. But yours was done right, with just about every area touched in some way or another. And you were always looking to do more. So you definitely get mad props from me and I'll always remember the car as one of my favs.

How much did you end up getting for your lancer? OZLancer1, you can answer to. Maybe give people a thought to how much they would get back.

I only got $9,000 for mine. But I had removed the turbo, big brakes, intercooler sprayer, and some of the carbon dress up pieces. I originally wanted 10k for it but I couldn't get anyone who could come up with the $$. It sucks because I know people who sold civics for a lot more that were twice as old with fewer mods. Lancer's aren't as popular with the tuning crowd so you definitely can't get as much for them as some other cars. But no matter what type of car you have, you almost never get back anywhere near what you spent upgrading it. That's why you see so many part-outs! I started out parting things out, but I got too lazy and didn't feel like ripping any more parts off, and then listing them, and keeping up with the threads, answering a ton of PM's, and shipping things out, etc.

That's BA man! I bet its nice not to have to avoid potholes and swerve for speed bumps! That's a super clean jeep! Those wheels look good too! Hopefully it will someday give you as much joy and pride as your Lancer did!
