A lot of people have been painting the chrome on the grill black, but I think if you're gonna keep the chrome grill, this looks kind of nice.

 

^^ Yeah, that is what I'm worried about. Getting the piece to stay would take epoxy to get it to stick and stick well. If I did decide to go the other route, I wouldn't know how to get it off.

BUUUUT, If I were to go that route, I would possibly just get a DE grill that was already black, so it wouldn't matter. I'll make my decision by this weekend when I actually have some free time.

Hah, the reason I took it off in the first place was to get rid of it from the back, then had the idea to put it on the front.

Yup, so I think the decision will be to put it on. The only thing though, is that I want to paint the middle pieces black so just the letters show. Kind of like how the 'Mitsubishi' on the back was done. All the chrome connector pieces have to go hah.

 

Id like to see it "with" from a distance, like the first pic.

So far I say "without," although I do really like the idea, 'cus it doesnt look bad, and it's tasteful.
