perfect body styling, the front lip, skirts and shorty rear bumper work perfectly together. The headlights and hood are amazing. Basically you car is exactly how i want mine too look, with a couple of minor changes. lol

my suggestions would be bigger rims, and maybe custom 2 tone paint job on the hood

the kenstyle sideskirts are about 2-3inches lower from where i cut them which didn't line up with the bumpers. Like blacklancer said i'm not done with them yet. I've got a few ideas running around in my head.

yah the bracket idea has been thrown around im not sure if i want to clutter the front bumper up with a bracket and plate though...unfortunately here in cali we are required by law to show a front license plate and mounting it in the bumper kinda hides the plate and leaves the front bumper from being cluttered. thanks for the comments and idea.

im going to get fully adjustable suspension soon and plan to change rims but not bigger ones i'm going for a VW/euro look tucked, dumped, stretched and cambered so i'll keep you guys updated on that.

as far as the carbon hood goes i might go with a carbon oem hood i'm still undecided yet but i will keep it in mind to get it painted.

i'd defintely look into it--i've done it and i love how it looks after i filled in the holes in the bumper. there's one other guy i have seen who has done it on the forums though i forget what his name was.

also, do you get any vibration with the hood at highway speed? i couldn't go over 70 without the thing moving around more than i would have liked it to. hood pins fixed that problem.

i didn't have any problems with the hood at all. these pictures were taken to and from vegas and our average speed was about 75-80. On the way back home we were doing 100+ for some time and i had no problems with the hood what so ever.

i'll do a search for lancers with the front plate bracket and i'll see if its something i would consider doing. thanks.

yah, the center of the bumper has to be cut in order for the lip to fit. When cutting the bumper i would leave a little bit of the factory bumpers lip in place or else it will bow like how my lip is right now. Cutting it is no big deal really its just that you'll have to find another bumper if you ever want to go back to stock. Thanks for the comments.

cutting the bumper is necissary for fitment. Good lip quality though.

It's been a while but here's an updated look on the front bumper. A little bit after I made this thread I split the lip in half while driving on the freeway [ran something over] plus all the daily driving took a toll on the paintjob.

I mended the lip together, sanded out all the rock chips and while I was welding the lip together I decided to do a few other things to the bumper. I shaved off the reflectors and the two big holes up front where the factory license plate mount goes.

I didn't use any bondo on the bumper I plastic welded everything shut and smoothed it out. The hood seems dull because its wet sanded at the moment and will be getting a fresh coat of clear. I'm hoping within a few months I'll have enough money to have the car resprayed so that everything matches.
