Do you know if those Projector headlights are available for purchase to those of us in the USA? And if they are available is there any problems with swapping them out with the factory ones we have installed? Any information would very much appreciated. THX!

And u dont know how much more expensive cars are here. We pay GTS prices for ur mid range lancer. Its not only mitsubishi, its everyone. We are not allowed to import used cars too! South African law. If we want an import we need a racing licence(which costs an arm and 2 legs) and the car is purly a track car, plus the import and registration duty they charge us and all imports cost more than if they were new! 
That's a real rip off 
and I thought we had it bad

Well im sure swapping them to the original ones you guys have installed is not a problem, we get 3 different specs of the Lancer in Dubai, GLX, GLS and GT, both GT and GLS come with Projector headlights, GLX come with the reflector type..
as to purchasing these headlights for US ppl, not sure about this one, but If i were you i would wait for aftermarket ones coz those purchased from a dealership are going to be damn expensive, I will ask my dealership about the price within few days as my car will be goin for its 1000 km service

Dont know what ur specs are. Just gonna have to wait and see. The bad part is that it I will probably picj the car up on the 10th of January. Gonna be leaving for Europe for holiday so no Lancer until I get back
