okay... hmm.. maybe i'm just lazy, but....... i peeled back the carpeting in my trunk and took a look at my taillights... cuz i was going to switch out the turn signal.. but i was just like 'what tha hell.. this isn't worth it' --- i saw like 6 screws or whatever but it started raining..so i went inside
... is it a simple process (changing the bulb) or do i have to take all that stuff off? and if i do, how?
Thanks in advance

you gotta unscrew it from the outside and pull it out, i think there's a few clips holding it in. It's a ***** to take out the first time. I know there's a few threads that mention exactly how to remove it, regardless, they were still a ***** to remove.

There's two screws that hold the assembly to the trunk. After that, unplug the gray plastic boot to give that wiring some slack for when the tail light assembly pops out. Last, lightly tap on those two pegs that are covered by clear plastic tops. The entire assembly should come out nicely after that.
