i just hate how you see the hood latch through the evo style grill
thats why i like the ralliart one

 

all u have to do is change out the mesh to better one like CRAZY-OZ's lancer

Color matched to my paint now but I thought this was the best shot I have of it. I'm just not partial to the Ralli///Art symbol in some of those grills. Not quite as clean IMO

 

Yes, my V.1 Evo grille has a large gap! Just strike it up to a bad Ebay seller who said nothing about it having any gaps. I got it brand new second-hand, and cannot remember who was the manufacturer.

The symbol is the one from trunk and is only affixed by 3M max. strength double-sided tape cut into 3 little diamonds.

Paint the hood latch black to match the mesh in the grille...simple!

 

i did change the mesh.. i even doubled it and you can still see the hood latch
