I want to cover my dash, the upper part only with black suede.
Has anyone taking it off yet? i want to know if it's hard to do or more annoying than anything.

 

I took my whole dash out to make it black and silver. its easy exept for removing the airbag so the dash would come off

 

make sure to boil the rice first...

that's what im thinking ! not that it matters anyways, i want to do it, it's my car, and ill do what I want to it!

but if i was going to paint my dash different colors, like white or lime green or soemthing, then yea, it would be along the lines of rice!

Is a M3 rice? It has suede steering wheel, seats, arm rests...etc. I know it's a BMW and it's completly diff. in every way than a lancer, but point is it has suede. So does a IS300

 

its not rice.....its just another douche trying to use the "rice" word to freely...i swear most people don't even know what rice means lmao...if they don't like the idea its considered rice nowadays.

sounds like it'd look nice. I don't see why people need to put down other people's cars as long as it doesn't look rediculous. Besides it's your ride so if you like it that's all that matters.

lol... some people think any modifying of looks is Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement (RICE).. Suede will look good and is not rice.

 

Suede cuts the sunlight glare as well witch you will see on alot of race cars where that sunlight glare can be real distracting!

 

I agree, if you like it then do it. I painted my interrior white and got burned for that but if someone wants to put pink furry stuff on there dash who am i to judge what looks good, in their oppinion it obviously does..... so don't pay attention to anyone who is burning your ideas, do what you want.
