I need to get a wing for my car but don't know what to get i have a 2008 lancer rally red and im thinking about a carbon fiber wing but dont know if it would look good. what do you think and any wing that my look good please post pic's or site i could get it from thanks.

 

i think a cf wing would look awesome on a rr but idk where u can get one for an 08

 

I wouldn't recommend any type of after market wing on the lancers; especially 2008 models as the AF wing will not match with the overall look of the car.

You may buy an OEM wing or wait until some company comes out with the CF wing which matches OEM wing.

 

i was thinking about a universal carbon fiber wing i think it's called 3d gt or somthing like that.

There was a thread about this, with a Blue 08 and the wing that killed it.

Why don't you just get the GTS Spoiler, and have it Carbon-Wrapped..?
I think that would be most benificial.

 

^Good call, the stock GTS spoiler looks really good to me, getting some aluminum/CF erector set would just ruin the car.

it's the same size as the back of the car it will be just short from over laping the car but thats not the one just something like it style. or do you think the stock gts wing is better. im asking so my car does not look like crap. i just wanted somthing that will stand out but look good.

 

i wasn't sure earlier what kinda wing u were talking about. don't get any aftermarket ones cus that will look reallly out of place. only the stock wings look good so if someone like RRM comes out with a cf one then go that route or just keep it the way it is

 

Don't get anything with those "erector set" brackets like ambystom called them. They look horrendous on street cars. Something like the OEM GTS one is best. It should look an extension of the original bodywork.
