i want to tell u guys that the garage u guys were talking about isn't that owner's home or garag. It just a reguler motel in Taiwan. The motel in Taiwan alway look like that, they will give u a town house like u saw in the pic. Downstairs is a garagefor park ur car in, than u sleep on upstairs....U may ask how do I know?..This is because I'm a Taiwanese. I study at the UNI of Oregon now.

I'm not knocking your cars or anything, I think they're nice cars, but pretending to drive something that has years of racing heritage and a some what of a religious following is just..........gay.
I plan on getting an Evo 7 kit because the Evo 7 body style looks a hell of a lot better (and more functional with the front end having all the vents) than the stock Lancer body or any other body kit. I don't plan on getting an Evo 7 kit because the Evo 7 is a badass car and I think that by putting on the kit that my Lancer will be inherit some of that badassness. I'm not misbadging my car, nor am I pretending to drive something that I'm not.

i completely agree! i know our car is nowhere near the performance of an evo 7. sue us for liking the evo 7 styling a hell of a lot more than our stock styling. its just a matter of opinion.. if we like it, we like it. everyone's car is a creation of oneself, is it not?

Yeah buddy your gay. : It's people like you that should just not say anything at all if it is not productive. Personaly I like the idea of the kit and if I end up having enough money I may just buy one.

Obviously you haven't realized that there aren't any Evo VIIs in the US... So they would look different from anything that is here. The cars won't even look totally like Evo VIIs anyways, since they won't have the Evo VII headlights.
I mean, ****, Civics do Skyline conversions, etc.
Are you seriously gonna knock Lancer owners for putting an Evo VII-style kit on their car, when no one here even knows how those look like?

I'm sure the relatively few Evo VIII owners aren't going to give one poop about that...

If they put the Evo VII emblems and **** on their car, and walk around trying to pass their car off as an Evo VII, then it's time to flame.

Yet, you... yeah, wrong buddy.

Haters die... but the hate they brought lives on

Why do you have to bust the bubble about the evo 7 kit? I mean i agree, if someone tries to say that their car is an EVO 7 then their gay.. but by generalizing that everyone who is excited and/or have bought this kit is gay... thas just stupid... why cant you just think of it as homage? Peoples love for the evo look has driven them to make/buy a kit that looks like the evo... i'm pretty sure that most lancer owners who will buy this kit just want their cars to look nice like the evo and not pass it off.. since the performance differences are too great!

Well I havn't read all 8 pages of this thing but, it does after all say evolution VII on the back. if thats not trying to say your a evo i dont know what is. I guess i understand liking the look and all that. Unfortunatly in my town theres about 500 type r integras, and 10 times that in SIR civics. nature of the beast.

Why does the number of my posts matter? All I did was voice an opinion, this is a public forum is it not? And by productive you mean that I need to reply with "y0 dawg, dats mad tite y0" I'm simply not going to do that.

First off, you need to do your homework, because there are a few Evo VII's in the US, one of them being in that goofy 2 Fast 2 Furious movie. And since a lot of people have seen that movie then people are obviously going to know what one looks like. Give me a break, a big wing, 4 doors, and vents on the hood, that's an Evolution, any car enthusiast knows that. I don't like it for many reasons, one being that your putting a big wing on a FWD car, and two you don't have the R & D know how to make something that is actually functional, you're just making a bumper out of fiberglass and cutting holes in a hood. To me it's pointless, and a mockery of the real Evolution. And that is MY OPINION, if you don't like it, then ignore it. I didn't post to start a stupid flame war, I chose to voice my opinion and that is all.

I wasn't being childish, you're the one that is actually being childish, which makes you a huge douche bag.
