lol hey he's gotta get his 2 cents in right? I like what you have done so far how much were your rims? And if you painted your side markers it would look nice in my opinion. I'm gonna try to remove and paint mine this weekend. I like your tint too how much was that if you don't mind tellin?

 

Well rims were basically a steal, I got lucky and found the rims, and paid (you might want to sit down for this) $315, after shipping was around $345. the tint cost me $145

 

wow you did get lucky. Its amazing how well the ralliart grille changes the whole look of the front of the lancer.

 

Honestly, I think me and a buddy of mine are the only ones who have it in Central florida, and lemme tell you, between the grille, my rims, and just basically the color scheme I got goin on, I turn heads, ppl love my car for eye candy, does it have the power I want....no, lol, I think I'm gonna stiffen the springs, lower it, and prepare for a good ol engine swap, I really want an evo, but my ideas of that happening seem to be slowly fading away.

 

Yeah I get compliment on my car all the time and my most expensive mods where the tailights. Its expensive owning such a beast like the evo but the lancer has potential to be just as good if not better then an evo just think. We don't have AWD but we do have the oppurtunity to get turbo and enough mods to not have to pay high car insurance and be able to mod and customize our cars more especially if you make average income even an auto lancer can be tuned to 300WHP its been done. BtW how much was your paint job it looks slick.

 

It was actually redone before I bought it, poor thing was used and abused before I got it, so i had to restore it, it was painted before I got it, VERY crappy job, but painted nonetheless. Eh, I wouldn't say ALL of that about our cars, I've accepted that my car will never be as good as the evo, nor do I want it to be. I personally want to do the g64 engine swap, and make it to 200whp off of that engine, it's been done with minimal modding to 167whp. So I'm eager to try that out, but I'm not eager to turbo my car to 300whp, just because, have u seen gas lately? lol
