Post some pictures man. Would be nice to have some more 5000K vs 6000K comparisons. If you want white fogs you could probably look into some PIAA's (pricey) or Luminics or Nokyas as cheaper alternatives. Their bulb type is H11.

I didnt want to open a new thread for this but decided to change the highbeams tonight to Sylvania Silverstar Ultra 9005.

Thought I'd post a comparison if anyone was interested. Our stock highbeams are by Sylvania too but probably some generic base model judging by how much brighter the Ultra's are. Sure was one hell of a painful install. Its horribly cramped and that damn cap doesn't help either. Ended with several bleeding scraps on my hands bah. But probably the longest time was spent screwing and unscrewing the bulb, trying to get the aim right.

How much does a set of bulbs like that cost, and how much was the install?

.... and I have always been told that clicking sound is the fuel injectors

you just had them installed professionaly because you wanted to keep the DRL function? so if i did it myself the DRL shouldn't be active right? casue i really find the DRLs useless. and a waste of bulb life

Yeah I had them professionally installed at Ziebart. I know it affects the bulb life but my mileage is quite low and HID's are supposed to last over 3000 putting the lifespan at nearly 4 years for my use.

Also if you're in Canada, its illegal to bypass DRL's on a car which has it from the factory. Just a heads up...

Please get projectors to save our eyes from nasty 'plug and play' HID glare.

Highbeam looks decent though.

I would love to get projectors for the '08 model to use with my HID's. Know where I can find a set? And without costing me both arms and legs.

Let me know where to get them and I will.

Till then I had the aim on my drivers side headlights, pointed down to compensate for the increased glare.

It'll be better to wait for the Evo X/Ralliart (or even 2009 GTS if it has HID's like rumoured) to become more common on the streets. Will make far more sense to retrofit a projector housing from one of those rather than fabricate a TSX one to fit our cars...

It's great you care and have re-aimed them. Most people don't and it's a huge pet peeve. There is so much room there for a retrofit, and you could get higher quality projectors anyway by going that route.
