I agree its ugly but i've never seen a gold lancer. Thats as close to gold that ive seen besides that gold evo floating around the board. If you have it post it. I wanna see what it looks like.

 

Black, Silver, White, Red, and Blue all look more manly.

 

I saw the gold one at the dealer when i pciked up mine. I was not a huge fan of it but then again it was different...kinda like that light bluish one....but your the one who has to dirve it so who cares what we think?

 

wait.. are you talking about desert sand color?? b/c if you look at mitsubishi's website... the only color close to gold is desert sand.. but yeahyeah... when i was looking around for a black lancer... i saw a desert sand lancer... no offense but thats like an old man color... or a color that belongs on a camry LOL

 

Damn I asked again if I could pick a different color and the guy said that's the only car they can do the deal on. Guess I could get a personalized plate that reads "GLD MBR"

If you do decide to go for the GTS, the "Desert Sand Metallic"isn't a bad color. Will look quite nice with the black interior. I'd still wait for the 09' Ralliart though

 

No love for clown's? Yeah the Ralliart will be a badass car but, it will be more than I will be able to spend. My mountain of debt steers me towards the 2008 GTS. I guess the gold will be a good Texas color since it's light. Will miss my 2005 Ralliart for sure. Has been a great car! The GTS will make my 3rd Lancer and my woman drives a 2007 Outlander. We are Mitsubishi fanatics.

 

The gold lancer isnt bad. We get them down here. I however went for the beautiful metallic red that puts all other colours to shame
