give the guy a break he was sharing what he has doen to his car, and He likes it. HE is the one who has to drive it everyday so he should be able to do whatever he want's with out being made fun of. ***.

Personally, I think the graphics look great on Adams and Kontras cars......keep up the EXCELLENT work guys - remember, keep posting the pics!

 

i don't think the red neon goes well with a yellow car, but DUDE...! i'm digging the reflective graphics! that is SWEET!

 

and fyi, blue and red neon are illegal in most states, because the state dept thinks that all drivers assume blue and red means police, even if the lights are UNDER the car. go figure.


sigh. just another way we're oppressed by the system.

 

Reflective graphix? That's pretty cool. Maybe I've been in a cave, but I don't think I've ever seen those before. I would like to see em' in person.

just wondering why ya didn't go with a ... better? undercar system. my streetglow gold series out shines that easily.

and on the back, why does it seem like the neon is directed out behind the car? has to be funky positioning.

Honestly though, nice ride, and nice graphix. I was gonna help a friend of mine design something *similar* but not the same, but we had the idea long before i even saw your car. I think the *sty;e* came from somewhere, but maybe Kontra made that specific graphic?

BTW about the neon underbody, is there anyway to angle them in more so it looks more like an underneath glow rather than 4 lines around the car sporadically?

 

I dont care where those graphics came from or who made then and whos idea it was, i think they look nice no matter what.

 

I realllllllly don't understand how that is "kontra's design or kontra's style" or they copied "kontra's style" or why they apologize for using a similar style.

No one OWNS a graphic design (except for Troy Lee Designs), theres like 100's of graphic companies who sell the pinstripe side door graphics just like that.

If you're going to give credit for anyone for creating and making that style as big as it is, credit Signal Auto and the whole JDM scene. They were the originators of the style and have had them on there cars for a loooooong time.

A popular graphical style isn't anyone's property, you paid for em, there yours. Your not coping anyone except the Japanese.

 

what's so ricy bout under body neons and graphx? it just further accentuates ur car. i love neon and graphics.

i dont think u guys know what the meaning of "rice" is. if u have good parts for your and in addition u have graphics and neons its fine, all nice cars, boosted cars, tricked out cars have these.

but on the other hand, if u have bone stock car with no namebrand parts but cheap 10dollar accessories, thats ricey.

furthermore, if u have a car and u try to "make" it look like what its not, thats ricey.

ex: u have a lancer, and u change it to look like an evo, thats super ricey.

or a cx hatchback to make it "look" like a typeR, the riciest of all.

 

i think its the camera that makes it look like its just four sticks, cuz mine shines out all over the place and looks nice, but when i took a picture it looks just like his.

 

First off, Thanks for all the feedback....but anyways the only reason I called it "Kontra Style" is that Kontra has by far the most Popular Lancer in the US and that I used a style similar to his since his is soo well known....for everyone's info though the graphics on Kontra's car came from Modern Image..if you go to their site you'll find them there..that is why he has MI in the graphics at the back of the car...I know Signal makes graphics like these but theirs have a "exploding effect" at the end of the car. It seems that some people were upset at the fact that I called them Kontra style so I wanted to set that straight...his car is the **** though...
And yes Illizit is right that the camera does do that effect with the neons but also I have the new Varad L.E.D undercar kit so I can strobe, chase, fade in and out, go with music, and about 10 other effects that I can't descibe, but I do lose some "glow" since they are L.E.D's (48 on each side and 24 front and back) and they shoot directly at the ground.

I just wanted to put my .02 in and explain some other things
