has anyone repainted their car?
i'm not trying to paint my car some weird color because that's just not my style. i just want something i like really, and my white paint has been that dull whtie since day one. i been doing some thinking and ive consider just staying white, but getting like a super bright bright white.
i'm not sure about adding a body kit, i might--i'll figure that out within the next couple of weeks (depends on how bills go lol). but i'm getting a cute small spoiler and some rims.
i'm thinking bout black rims with the white paint, just super sexy.
but wow, all the prices mention ranged from 200-7000 lol. that's crazy, what a ballpark price! haha.

I got my old front end removed and new hood and front bumper put on. Entire car repainted from LY to Lexus Breakwater Blue Metallic, new rear wing painted and installed, new cf hood installed with 15 coats of clear!!!, and VG painted and installed for $2200!

What have you done to take care of your paint? Have you thought about taking your car to a professional detailer to see if he/she could bring back the luster of the original paint job? This is cheaper than having the car repainted.
Check with your insurance company first before you paint it a different color if you do paint it a different color.
About being a girl. If your are afraid that they will try and take advantage of you, bring your, father, brother, or boyfriend with you.
Pearl white looks damn good on a Lancer. Look at having it painted Diamond Pearl White. It is a stock Mitsubishi color.
As for being in Miami, look up some paint shops. Go and check them out. Look at the quality of work they do.

+1. If your set on changing the color of your car and getting it done professionally and propperly its going to cost you a good bit of money. However like said above, there are options out there for renewing your current paint if you dont want to spend so much to get it changed colors. Good luck and if you paint it let us see some pics.

I agree with Amby. Take it to a professional detailer or a good body shop that does detailing and have then polish or wetsand it. That should bring back the luster and be much cheaper than a new paint job.
I had my car repainted...same color as stock but I also had a full body kit put on as well...cost me about $3K.
It aint cheap to get your car repainted and the attention to detail must be perfect...I still need to go back to have my door handles painted again. These body shops tend to get the thing done as quickly as possible. Look out for overspray on windows and the trim by the windows as well as the tires themselves and inside the wheel wells.
Best of luck...if you do change colors, I just think you literally have to have the car strippe down, engine removed and only then repaint so there is not one spot left of the original color.
