I agree that it's your car, so do what you want.

That being said, you don't post something like this unless you want feed back... + or -... so... I agree with most of what has already been said... license plate has to go... graphics have to go... black outs on the brake lights... color match the wing and side skirts.

From my perspective, less always says more. This car is saying it's more that what it actually is. Just my opinion.

Yeah about the plates. I wanted to get an EVO but there was no way cause my wife wanted a house and I took the hit so we could afford it. I bought the lancer and she thought it would be cute to get me the license plates since it was as close as I was gonna get to an EVO. "You know it's your evo or close as your gonna get," wife says.
Also about the black, I have always liked the additions to stand out plus I don't care about the comments. I wouldn't of posted unless I wanted to hear them. It don't hurt my feelings none. I paid for it and I like it that's all that matters to me.

ok the exhaust are the same one was already on and dirty and the other was new that's why they look different.

 

Just an FYI your paint on the bumpers don't match. I would go back and have it re-painted.

I got my ES for $15,600 out the door so I'm thinkin I saved just a little bit.

not to hate, but i really don't like it... i would have all the stuff paint matched, but then again i would have also just saved myself the trouble of "wishing for an evo x" and instead of dropping money into an ES, had just saved up a bit and got the x.

like everyone has said, to each his own and if you like it thats all that matters!

@ polar1120 i too bought a house and had to choose evo or house and went house so i know how u feel anyways good on you man if thats what u wanted thats cool, people here are one side minded, its your car and u should do it the way u want to. I think it looks ok to be honest but i`m curious to see whats else is in store.

Pretty ignorant post, not to be rude or anything..
His lancer is not "trying" to be an evo..his wife got it(the plates) for him as to say "Sorry you didn't get the evo you wanted but this can make up for it for now"...Its not trying to be an Evo in any way, shape, or form.
