I want to add a small vent in my hood in the upper left corner over my SRI. I Have seen them somewhere, any clues. Anyone installed one, and if so, any improvement?

 

road race sells them and has a pic on the site. not sure if anyone has one installed or not.

They have it on RRM.....carbon fiber hood vent. Check it out

 

Pimpson installed one on his hood. Riveted down. Not the classiest way to get things done, but still probably no less effective. Muuuuch further down the line I'll probably have my stock hood reworked to have a Carbon Trix (read: Road Race) heat dissipation vent (the one that opens towards the cabin) and the small Evo style one to feed my HKS filter. Again, that's muuuuuch later.

 

Just buy the VIS Racing CF hood with the vents in it! Wooo!

 

Difference in cost...bout $300 + shipping.
