michigan is strange...any percent is allowed except on driver and front passenger window, where only a 4" strip is allowed

i had 5% on my t-gray, and it looked amazing. personally i would go between 15 and 30 if i were you

havent heard of many people being hassled for tint in MI, but you should ask around

Cali is the same way... well... almost... you're technically limited on how dark you can go on the back windows, but you aren't supposed to put any tint at all on the front doors or windshield.

However, in practice, a lot of people tint the front doors of their cars, but the ones that don't want to get hassled by the police keep it kind of light. My car has 35% on the fronts and 15% on the backs. Thanks to the huge *** windshield the front windows barely even look like anything has been done to them...
