oh cmon dude!... can they not like...give me a free set or something for, I guess from what you told me, destroying my set of headlights. Like surely they would since now they know what not to do. lol I am not totally freakin out because I'm sure they can make it right. If they are going to charge for cores then that means that they already have the headlight made before you order, so they should be able to send me a set. If you could PLEASE talk to them and let tell them that I would like a set of headlights when they are done. Those headlights are pricey as crap heh

 

from what they've told me, once they get a working set, they plan to just buy a NEW set from a Mitsu dealer so that they can build a brand new set to start off with. then they'll have the first one to sell, and take the core headlights back. I'll probably wind up with the new dealer lights (modded of course) with my lights as the first core swap, and so on. I'll see what they can do about getting you a new set of lights... but Im not real sure what to tell ya. I guess thats the bummer of being the Donor? We'll see...

 

PS - they are looking for another set of donor headlights... so if anyone has an extra set that they are willing to give up, let me know. If you are willing, you'll recieve one of the following:

1. Your lights back modded with halo/projectors
OR
2. Nothing because they broke these ones too

Low beams on projectors suck. well at least i think so.. high beams on them are really nice. I had them on my neon, waste of dolla.

 

Sorry havnt got the headlights installed today...
went ot RRM and everyone was busy and I couldn't figure a thing out from any of those service manuals Rob gave me...

(but I did read some other stuff from the service manuals...)

 

jwerner24, did you find out on the projectors/halos? I'm in if the quality is there.

 

hey! how are those projectors comming? could I get a pic of what my broken headlights look like maybe? I got another set of headlights from a buddy that works at a salvage yard. I would like to donate them, but I want to drive my beautiful car again...you know how it goes.
