It's amazing how faithless some manufacturers can be. Here we are with a list that's almost 50 deep with buyers, and plenty more future buyers that cruise this forum daily, and it's this much of a struggle.

Also, it looks like Kareem wont be able to send in his lights to be used as donors, so if anyone else has a set they dont mind giving up, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Liquid, please get back to me!

 

I am definately into the Projector idea, but the Halo's I don't need. AngelEyes/Halo's are becoming an almost ricer type addition to your car. It looks cool, but so do altezza's. So *IF* I can get a projector headlight without the Halo's I'd be more happy.

Either way, stick me on the list. Projectors would be suweet.

sharpie, Im thinking that if these get produced, they will all have halos. my guess is that you could always cut the wiring and not worry about it.... or, maybe i can talk them into fabbing a couple customs one up that dont have halos. we'll see.

I really don't have much against the Halo's. I mean I'd prefer if they weren't there, but if they are that's OK too.

Even though they are not my first preference, I am not soo much against them to say I don't want Projector lights.

Yah, what's new with this headlamp project, is there any ETA, a month, 2 months, etc? I was kind of curious on how long of a wait manufacturing would be?

 

well, they havent even found anyone to give them a donor set (well, Im getting in touch with ghostrider). as soon as they can open up the lights and play around, they should have a pretty good working set in a week or two's amount of work. I'd expect to see these for sale in a month or so max.

sorry if i missed somthing here guys but i didnt have time to read all 7 pages of this thread. anyway did you guys try contacting TYC. when i was on the sentra boards TYC was the only company that gave back positive input back and was giving consideration to making projectors for the sentra. i figured us lancer guys would have a heads up since TYC already makes tails for our cars. and if those tails were profitable then they already know there would be a market for them. just my 2 cents...

 

Apparently TYC will be making some headlights for the lancer... but who knows when they will be out. Probly not for a while.
