Painted a few things...

So I painted a few things under the hood today. The SRi module, fuse box cover, and spark plug cover. I didn't paint the engine cover because I want to keep the logo and "MIVEC" in silver, but I dont think I would have the patience to tape off all the letters.

I used Dupli-color High Heat paint from Autozone (5 bucks), and 3M 320 grit Fine sand paper (4 bucks).

I sanded the SRi twice, and the others once. Each item I painted with 3 coats of paint, waiting at least 10 minutes between coats, as the directions suggest.

Pics: (btw, taken with a cell phone)

I wanted the fuse box cover to still have a somewhat textured surface to it on the top, so thats why it is like that. Also, its edges are kind of rough, I know.

Will post pics of the items installed if you guys want, just ask!

Questions? Comments? Concerns? lol

haha yeah I know what you mean.... I spent a good hour and a half taping the letters before I started painting... it was sooo boring but worth it in the end

and I wouldn't mind seeing those installed
